KUALA LUMPUR (July 1): Dialog Bhd Group announced today that it has been awarded a master service contract from Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) for the maintenance and rotation of the national oil group`s facilities. The contract is valid for a period of 5 years with the possibility of renewal by PETRONAS. The order includes integrated factory handling work and daily mechanical static maintenance work for PETRONAS facilities throughout the group. “This integration of contracts is in line with Petronas` long-term efforts to strengthen local suppliers, increase their competitiveness and increase their resilience to the ever-changing industrial landscape. Of the 17 contractors, five are joint ventures (JVs) between foreign companies, with Malaysian partners leading the cooperation. The implementation of TA4MS will help improve health, safety and environmental (HSE) standards, productivity and quality of work, reduce follow-up work and shorten schedules by avoiding repetitive tasks. – Bernama CR Asia Malaysia (CRAM) provides long-term contact with Petroliam Nasional Bhd (PETRONAS) as part of the Master Service Agreement (MSA) for the integration of mechanical mechanics (TA4MS) rotation and maintenance at the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC). CRAM is responsible for maintenance and rotation activities and is proud to support PETRONAS` long-term efforts to strengthen local suppliers with this five-year contract with an option to renew for three years plus two years. With this distinction, CRAM is named one of the anchor companies of the PETRONAS Vendor Development Programme (VDP). This relationship will be a catalyst to strengthen CRAM`s influence in the Malaysian oil and gas market. In a grant filed today, Dialog explained that the order entrusted to its 100% subsidiary Dialog Plant Services Sdhd covers integrated factory handling and daily mechanical maintenance and is valid for a period of five years, with the possibility of being extended by Petronas.
